Pastor Sean Libby

Pastor Sean Libby is the Executive Pastor of Christian Life Center.  Born in November 1970, Pastor Sean is the first of two children of Rev. R.E. and Sis Linda Libby.  His early years were spent working alongside his family in the church they established after moving to the Rockville/Gaithersburg area from Annapolis MD in 1974.  At the age of 15, Pastor Sean realized that God had a great plan for his life that would eventually lead to pastoral ministry.  He attended Texas Bible College in Houston Texas; graduating with a Bachelors in Theology in 1992 He met his wife and best friend, Monique Martin, during his college years.  They were wed in November of 1993 after her graduation from Jackson College of Ministries, Jackson Mississippi and have two wonderful children, Martin and Rayne.

The early years of their ministry were marked by evangelistic travel. Shortly after marriage, they traveled throughout the United States preaching and teaching in churches, youth camps, conferences, and training seminars.  In 1995 Pastor Sean and Sis. Monique had the opportunity to live in Guyana South America, assisting missionary Danny and Lori Aber. Upon returning to the U.S., Pastor Sean joined the ministry team of Christian Life Center as Ministry Coordinator.  Many doors of ministry opportunity opened for Pastor Sean and Sis. Monique.  They experienced five trips to the Philippines, conferences in Belize, several trips back to Guyana developing their ministry team to the purpose God needed for this present day.  In 2003 Pastor Sean was voted in as the Executive Pastor of Christian Life Center and continues in this role.

Pastor Sean is currently pursuing a Masters in Christian Leadership through the Apostolic School of Theology and anticipates completion early 2014.  Along with going to school and working on the pastoral team of Christian Life Center, Pastor Sean serves as Chaplain for the Montgomery County Police Department and the Central Intelligence Agency, assisting and coming alongside the men and woman that protect our community and country.
